The 12-Hour Guerrilla Film Challenge is a high-intensity filmmaking event where storytellers, creatives, and aspiring crew come together to write, shoot, edit, and screen a short film—all in a single 12-hour sprint. It’s about collaboration, pressure, and raw creative fire.
How It Works
Arrive early (6:00 AM) – Get registered and caffeinated.
Briefing + Theme Reveal (6:30 AM) – We reveal the secret theme and rules.
Team Assignment (7:30 AM) – You’ll be paired with your crew for the day.
The Sprint Begins (8:00 AM)
2 hours to write
4 hours to shoot
4 hours to edit
Submission Deadline: 6:00 PM sharp
Live Screening + Judging: 6:30 PM
Rules & Constraints
Phones only for filming – no pro cameras or extra gear.
One lavalier mic kit will be provided per team.
No outside equipment – lighting must be DIY and guerrilla-style.
Editing on laptops or Stark media lab computers (pending approval).
Minimum 4 / Maximum 8 per team.
You can sign up solo or with a group. Teams will be formed day-of.
